Directors

Nehemiah’s Directors are responsible for the overall legal, financial and strategic development of the charity.

 

Jamie Colman

Jamie is a Solicitor in and Partner of Plexus Law, a specialist professional indemnity and large loss legal practice. He is a member of the Colman family and Trustee of the family trust, The Jeremiah Colman Trust. Jamie is Nehemiah’s Chair and has been a Nehemiah Director for 12 years.


The Honourable Moira Rank

Wife of the late Joseph Rank, Moira is a Council Member of the Royal Alexander and Albert School in Surrey. Moira became a Nehemiah Director 12 years ago.

 

Giles Topping

A Solicitor with London-based law firm Cooke Matheson, Giles has extensive experience in acting on behalf of charitable organisations – with a wide variety of clients in this area. He has also been personally involved in supporting various charitable-based activities globally. Giles is Nehemiah’s Secretary and has been a Nehemiah Director for 12 years.
 

Christopher Ley

Christopher is the Claims Manager for and a Divisional Director of the International Division of insurance broker Besso Ltd. He has been personally involved with the charity for five years, and helped with the running of our courses.  Christopher has been a Nehemiah Director for five years.


James McKechnie

James worked in computing for ten years before leaving it behind to go to college to study for a BSc and MSc in the environment, waste and recycling – following his lifelong interest in making better use of resources. He has been Sainsbury's Recycling and Resources Manager since 1998 and a Nehemiah Director since November 2007.
