We are currently recruiting for a Recovery Practitioner

Work with our Residents in their recovery and see them transform their lives, sharing in the wins and supporting them through sticky patches. Our Programme team work in our Residence and see our clients daily, so are able to develop strong relationships where they can witness many aspects of Residents lives, and know when support is needed.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner who can co-facilitate our twelve-week recovery programme, keywork our Residents and help assess referrals to the Charity. It is essential that you can work  as an integral part of our experienced and close Housing Team, delivering non-judgmental support in a structured, and where necessary, informal way. The key elements of the work are:

  • keywork - we have a very low caseload - no more than six men to keywork - giving you the opportunity to really engage with your clients, and make a difference in their lives
  • programme delivery - co-facilitate our daily groups as part of the therapeutic programme. Experience of process groups would be an advantage
  • Referrals - help choose who joins the programme. Work closely with the Rerferrals Co-ordinator on assessing and interviewing men referred to Nehemiah
