Invictus Games

Thursday 18th September

Last Friday, residents from no.47 went to go and see the Wheelchair Rugby at the Invictus games thanks to one generous supporter.

It was a great day out. None of the men had been to the Queen Elizabeth's Olympic Park before, and enjoyed learning what the Invictus games are all about. They were sitting just below Prince Harry's stand, and one lucky resident even got to shake his hand! A completely new and fun experience.

One of the residents who struggles in crowds and social groups, was cheering and laughing along with the others. This is exciting to see as he progresses on a daily basis on the programme and in his recovery.

A great day out!
