Francis's Skydive

Monday 29th October

Francis Johnson-Beke is our Caretaker at 47 Tooting Bec Gardens, and has brought a great sense of fun and thoughtfulness to the house. He also encourages the Residents to play football and sets an example every morning by going over to Tooting Bec Common at first light to train.

Francis wanted to do more to support our Residents, and decided to take to the skies - on October 23rd he jumped out of an aeroplane at the North London Skydiving Centre in March, Cambridgeshire. He was ably supported by our Development Director, Lois Momoh, who gamely took time out from her half term break to accompany Francis and offer moral support.

So far, Francis has raised nearly 50% of his target of £2,000, and will be speaking about his experience at local churches to raise more awareness of Nehemiah. You can still sponsor him on MyDonate, or come to one of our Open Huse events and hear about his exploit first hand. Dates this autumn are

1st November, 3.99-5.00 pm Graduation

7th December, 1.30 pm Monthly lunch

All welcome

We are very grateful to Francis for this amazing effort on our behalf and very happy that he enjoyed it. You can see more photos on our FaceBook page
