Summer BBQ - celebrations continue!

Last week we continued on with the celebrations to mark Nehemiah's 30th birthday, bringing together staff, residents and former residents for an afternoon of food, sunshine and celebration.

It was a wonderful chance to see just how far our community stretches. Former residents came back to share how their lives have changed since leaving Nehemiah, catching up with staff who supported them along the way and residents who are currently on their own journey at Nehemiah. It was great to be reminded that the relationships built here don't end when someone moves on.

Thirty years in, the afternoon was a great chance to step back from the day-to-day work of recovery and to celebrate not just how far Nehemiah has come, but how far the men we support have come too.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the afternoon so special.
